There are so many reasons not to hire a planner. Let me try to explain the only reason to hire someone.
You will need a local representative in order to assist you in the planning of your event. For many of you this event is a once in a lifetime soiree!
This is a business decision that will protect your entire investment and guarantee your success and happiness for your weekend.
There is a saying in our business: “Do you want to be the director, the producer or the star of your event?”
Your caterer may assist you prior but are they experts in all aspects of planning an event? No- they are experts in catering. The day of the event they will need to focus on their responsibilities, and should focus on that – nothing else.
After all, would you have your plumber build your house?
You have reserved the location for your event and you have researched all of your vendors. The florist has been chosen and your theme finalized. You have reserved your transportation and have a plan B in case of bad weather…… You have negotiated and contracted with all of the vendors that you have researched and the arrangements have been finalized.
Are the contracts correct? Are they fair? Are they flexible? We will review the contracts with you to see if there are any discrepancies or concerns. After all, we negotiate hundreds of these contracts per year and know them inside and out!
During the planning process you have a number of questions.
Is there someone you can call to ask those questions? Are you relying on the opinions of your vendors regarding aspects of the event that they are not involved in? – ask yourself, “Why am I discussing transportation with my photographer?”
Are your ideas going to work on island? What about welcome bags…..how much do they generally cost?

We will schedule monthly conference calls with you to assist you along the way and then meet with you the week before the event to go over your needs and receive instruction.
You now realize that we are there for you to confirm all of those details. You will never be anxious about who will insure that everything is delivered and handled to your specific requirements.
